Activision has announced that they are bringing three of their biggest family-friendly franchises to the new Apple TV microconsole. Guitar Hero Live, Skylanders SuperChargers and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved will all be available on Apple TV.
In addition to the Apple TV versions, Guitar Hero Live is coming to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch this fall. People will be able to play in their living room with Apple TV and take their game on the go with iPhone or iPad. The Bluetooth Guitar controller works across Apple devices.
Skylanders SuperChargers and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved are also coming to iPhone and iPad.
The new Apple TV was announced today with a new App Store specifically for the platform, and a new Wii-like remote that features a touchpad, a microphone and a built-in gyroscope. You can also use an iPhone or iPad as a controller.
