Dinosaur hunting survival game Ark: Survival Evolved lands on Xbox One December 16. Since its June 2015 debut on Steam Early Access, the popular indie title has attracted more than 2.5 million gamers to the open world survival game.
Players are on a quest for survival and must hunt, tame and train among 50 various creatures that are currently available, as well as craft items and join tribes to defend themselves from rival tribes.
The Xbox One release will be part of the Xbox Game Preview, which is similar to Steam Early Access. The program allows developers to soft launch games at a lower price.
The Xbox One version will have Xbox-specific servers, which also unfortunately means that PC and Xbox One gamers will not be able to play with each other. On the plus side, all of the content currently available in the PC build will be included in the Xbox One version along with console exclusive content including a bionic T-Rex.
Ark: Survival Evolved will retail for $34.99 on Xbox Game Preview for Xbox One.
