TellTale Games has announced the release date for the upcoming Minecraft: Story Mode. The episodic series will debut on October 13, 2015 with the first episode in a five part series.
In Minecraft: Story Mode, players assume the role of a male or female character named Jesse as you embark on a journey for the Order of the Stone across the Overworld and through the Nether in order to save the world.
The game will be available on a slew of platforms including PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android and iOS. The series will come to Wii U and PlayStation Vita at a later date.
A disc based version is coming out on October 27 for home consoles. The retail version only comes with the first episode on the disc with subsequent episodes downloadable via online updates.
