The hit game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire has a new video game adaptation out now for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

When it first debuted back in 1999, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was a smashing success. Daytime talk show host Regis Philbin – who sadly passed away recently – hosted the original version of the game show. His phrase “Is that your final answer?” would be considered meme-worthy today.

The game show was so successful that they created a daily version that was put into syndication. It also inspired countless video games, board games, and books. The syndicated show has had a variety of hosts over the years from Meredith Vieira to Terry Crews. It’s now in its 21st season with host Jimmy Kimmel.

The new video game features six iconic TV sets as seen in the American, British, French, Spanish, Italian and German versions of the show. An adapted translation is available for each of these countries as well as exclusive questions for each territory.

There are several modes to choose from, including a solo experience with two different difficulty settings. There’s a standard difficulty setting. Plus, there’s a mode dedicated to kids with simple questions for a younger audience. You can also compete online in a 99-person battle royale mode or in local multiplayer modes.
