IGN is reporting that the New York office of 2K Games, which includes 2K Games, Global Star and Joytech, was damaged in a fire this past weekend. According to the article, a spokesperson for Take-Two said that marketing and administrative areas of 2K Games were “significantly damaged” by the blaze. Jason Bergman, a PR specialist for 2K Games, wrote in a blog post that the fire will “seriously impact” the company. 2K Games publishes console games for PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox and is an arm of Take-Two.
