A Highland Song is Inkle’s latest game coming to PC and Switch

A Highland Song

Help Moira on her trip to her Uncle Hamish’s lighthouse before the summer solstice arrives.

Inkle, the makers of games such as 80 Days, Heaven’s Vault, and Overboard, have revealed their next title. A Highland Song, inkle’s next 2.5D side-scrolling adventure, will be available shortly on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Every mountain in the Highlands has a tale to tell, and every valley has a song to sing. Giants slumber, ghosts sing, ravens deliver messages, and eagles bring the dead back to life. The Highland crags, on the other hand, are merciless, and their tops are freezing. You should be aware that Moira’s journey will not be simple.

A 2.5D side-scrolling game

With a combination of hand-drawn animation, wonderfully painted landscapes, and dynamic lighting and weather effects, this 2.5D side-scrolling adventure brings the Scottish Highlands to life. Climb the peaks to obtain a sense of direction and to plan your future actions.

A Highland Song

Then, following the beat of the song, jump, slide, and glide down the valleys. And be prepared to make the voyage more than once, for one trip will not suffice to uncover the Highlands’ darkest mysteries.

A Highland Song is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch and the PC through Steam. If the game piques your interest, you may already add it to your Steam wishlist.
