Activision Registers Domains for GoldenEye Reloaded

Publishing giant Activision has registered several domain names for a possible sequel to the Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye 007. Just last November the company released a remake of the original on the Wii using the likeness of new James Bond actor Daniel Craig instead of the original GoldenEye actor Pierce Brosnan.

While no official word has come out of Activision, it’s not uncommon for publishers to reserve domain names for upcoming games. The “Reloaded” in the title could indicate another remake, perhaps this time on more powerful platforms such as the PS3 and Xbox 360. It may also be a sequel, although those familiar with the game would realize that the story doesn’t leave many loose ends.
