Today, Paradox Interactive released its latest Age of Wonders: Planetfall expansion. It’s called Invasions.
This is the second expansion to be released for Planetfall. It introduces the first new playable faction to enter the fray, the Shakarn. The Sharkarn are a race of brutal lizardmen bent on conquest.
Along with the new playable faction is a brand new story campaign. There is also a new NPC faction and a new late-game addition of ‘invasions’ where void bringers wreak havoc on the battlefield. Plus, there are a “myriad” of new features.
With the launch of Invasions, this also marks the first time that Planetfall and all future content is available on Mac. This is on top of the normal PC, Xbox One, and PS4 platforms.
Paradox says that Invasions is the “most expansive expansion pack for Planetfall to date,” adding changes to the game that “completely alter the way you approach battles.”
