Airoheart just got a release date.
The retro-inspired action-adventure RPG Airoheart started out as a passion project by Australian indie developer Pixel Heart Studio. The game was created in Unreal Engine 4, and development began back in 2017 before being successfully funded on Kickstarter in 2020.
Earlier this year, Soedesco announced its involvement with Airoheart as the game’s publisher. A private and closed beta test immediately followed, as well as a temporary publicly playable demo on Steam.
Players can expect real-time combat as they plant bombs, cast spells, drink potions, and overcome the dangers of Engard. Conquer dungeons, solve puzzles, and acquire weapons, armor, and magical abilities. Journey through a retro pixel art world that features an overhead perspective.
Airoheart will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on September 30, 2022.
