Aladdin and The Lion King are being remastered for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

The Sega Genesis and SNES classics Aladdin and The Lion King are being remastered for modern consoles.

The games – which were first released in 1993 and 1994, respectively – will be packaged together. They will launch this fall on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The announcement was leaked from a GameStop conference. According to Gematsu, the games “are reportedly playable in original and 1080p resolutions, and include their original soundtracks.”

There will also be new features, such as the ability to fast-forward and rewind the game. It will also have a feature that lets the game take over for the player and clear a stage.

One important detail that we don’t know yet is which version will be used for the remaster, although we hear that you will be able to choose between the SNES and Genesis soundtrack.
