Amazon.com Begins Video Game Trade-in Program

Look out GameStop, the world’s largest online retailer is aiming for your most profitable business. Like Best Buy, Kids R Us and others, Amazon.com is just the latest major retailer to join the used video game business. Everything from games for current generation systems such as PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii are being traded, along with handhelds such as DS, PSP and Game Boy Advance, as well as old-school platforms going back to as far as Sega Genesis, SNES and NES.

The process is fairly simple. First, you search for games that you want to trade in on their website. The games have to be in good working condition complete with manual, case and game disc without scratches. Next, you print a free shipping label and packing slip, package your games, and ship them. When they receive your trade-ins you will get an Amazon.com gift card deposited on your account.
