While the Nintendo 3DS is about to see a massive price drop on Friday from $250 to $170, consumers will have another reason to buy the handheld – at least if they like the color red. Nintendo announced that they will be releasing the Flame Red Nintendo 3DS in North America on September 9, the same day as the launch of Star Fox 64 3D. Aqua Blue and Black will remain available on store shelves alongside the new color.
