Square Enix is releasing an updated version of Nier Replicant for modern consoles and PC.
That’s according to a tweet sent out this morning. The tweet confirmed that the game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
Meanwhile, Kotaku is reporting:
This new, updated version of Nier Replicant will include new music, remakes of old songs and some other new characters. Square Enix didn’t say when to expect this new version of the game or all the new changes and improvements, though I expect we will learn more over the coming months.
Nier Replicant was first released on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010. The series has since spawned Nier: Automata and an orchestra concert in America and Europe. There’s also a novel planned for fall 2020.
