Ubisoft has released the latest installment in their strategy city-building series. Anno 2205 is the first game in the franchise to reach beyond Earth to the moon and beyond.
Players build futuristic cities on Earth that are capable of launching missions to the moon, racing to establish production colonies on the lunar surface. The new game engine allows for players to build cities of one million inhabitants on islands that are five times larger than previous Anno games.
Players are immersed in the high detail environments with flying cars, cities bursting with life, and advanced transportation networks.
A standard edition delivers the full game experience but those who opt for the Gold Edition will receive access to two expansion packs that will be released at a later date. Those who buy the standard edition can purchase the expansion packs separately.
