Arc of Alchemist is out now digitally in North America for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
Arc of Alchemist was first released last year only in Japan. It comes from Compile Heart, the studio behind Hyperdimension Neptunia, Fairy Fencer F, and Mugen Souls. Idea Factory is publishing the game in North America and Europe.
As part of the game’s Western release, players are able to explore the Genesis Desert with updated UI and new base facilities for better character leveling. With this update, players can now choose from 7+ playable characters, each specializing in unique weapons, attacks, and abilities.
Free DLC
The game has free downloadable add-ons for both the Nintendo Switch and PS4 versions. The DLC is out now for PS4. The Nintendo Switch DLC will launch in mid-February.
Here are the different DLC that will be available for the game:
- Super Powerful NG+ Package
- 3 new weapons and 3 weapon skins.
- Two new costumes for each of the playable characters
- Special Weapons: Beam Katana, Superior Spear, Histoire, Natural White, Beam Dagger, Shiitake, and Dogoo Plushie
