Arcade-inspired Hotshot Racing confirmed for PC and consoles

Curve Digital just announced a new arcade-style racing game that draws inspiration from the 1990s. It’s called Hotshot Racing, and it’s coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

“When we first played Hotshot Racing, we were immediately transported to the halcyon days of our youth,” says Curve Digital’s Simon Byron. He says that he used to pop quarters into classic arcade racers like Virtua Racing, Crusin’ USA, and Sega Rally.

Hotshot Racing will have eight different hotshot drivers with unique personalities, 16 from across the globe, and multiple game modes. The game will have both single-player and multiplayer game modes along with online and offline modes. There’s even a four-player local split-screen co-op mode.

Lastly, there’s the traditional Grand Prix mode, a Time Trial mode, and a unique Cops and Robbers mode. The game will launch later this spring.
