ARK II ties into ARK: The Animated Series
ARK II was announced at The Game Awards. While we got a first look last week, we now have some new details.
ARK II is coming in 2022 alongside the new ARK: The Animated Series. Both the animation and the video game feature the actor Vin Diesel, who is joining the Studio Wildcard production team. Diesel stars as the protagonist Santiago in both the game and the animated TV series.
“I’m having a lot of fun playing ARK and also really excited to join the Studio Wildcard team to develop the story both in-game and in the new animated series,” Diesel said.

ARK II thrusts players into a brutal new world of primitive survival against both beast and man, facing down the ever-present threats of hyper-realistic intelligent dinosaurs, aggressive alien fauna, and the exotic environments of an unearthly planet. Survivors will continue ARK‘s dramatic eons-spanning story of humankind’s evolution, in this next-generation sandbox survival experience.
We expect to learn a lot more about the new game in the year to come.
