Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic – Remake

The Legendary RPG is being rebuilt from the ground up by a team full of Star Wars fans.

Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic- Remake, a recreation of the original and beloved by many, was unveiled yesterday by Aspyr in conjunction with Lucasfilm and Sony Interactive Entertainment. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic – Remake, under production as a PlayStation 5 console exclusive at launch and for PC, is entirely rebuilt from the ground up enabling a new generation of players to experience this iconic narrative like never before.

A remade made by fans.

The game is being developed by a freshly formed team of industry veterans at developer and publisher Aspyr, in close collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. In recent years, Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games have collaborated to bring several old Star Wars titles to current platforms, including the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

“As lifelong Star Wars fans with extensive experience working with many of its best games, we have the deepest love and admiration for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and cannot wait to share this amazing remake with the rest of the galaxy.”

As previously noted, the PlayStation Showcase event is notorious for not announcing game release dates, and the Star Wars remake was no exception. The game will be available for both the PlayStation 5 and the PC.
