Assassin's Creed Origins free weekend starts today as new update adds 60 FPS support

Fans can try the full version of Assassin’s Creed Origins for free this weekend.

In addition to the free weekend, a new update adds support for 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game was originally released for PS4 and Xbox One. Those versions run at 30 FPS.

Players have access to all main game content throughout the free weekend. In addition, you can take advantage of up to 85% off Origins to continue their adventure after the free weekend ends on June 20. The game was recently added to Xbox Game Pass.
