Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection launches on Switch

Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection is out today on Nintendo Switch, bringing two Assassin’s Creed games to a portable device for the first time.

The Switch-exclusive Rebel Collection includes Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue in one package. It was revealed during September’s Nintendo Direct.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed Rogue are now both relatively old games, but they are fun entries in the series. Black Flag launched back in 2013 on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U. Assassin’s Creed III – which was remastered for Switch earlier this year – introduced sailing, but Black Flag fleshed it out.

Rogue was released in 2014 as a last-gen annual entry in the series as Ubisoft made Assassin’s Creed Unity – which was released at the same time – exclusive to next-gen consoles. Rogue is the final entry in the series on PS3 and Xbox 360. It was later remastered for PS4 and Xbox One.

Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection retails for $39.99.
