Assassin’s Creed Valhalla release date confirmed

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Ubisoft today revealed the release date for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Valhalla launches on November 10 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It is available as a launch title for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The game will run at 60 frames per second in full 4K resolution on Xbox Series X and PS5.

“With the Xbox Series X | S, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will take full advantage of the enhanced graphics, giving players the opportunity to experience the open world of Norway and England down to the very last detail,” the company says.

As we previously mentioned, Valhalla supports Smart Delivery. This means that anyone who buys the game on Xbox One will get a free upgrade to the next-gen version on Xbox Series S / X.

In terms of what you can expect on next-gen platforms, Ubisoft says that both Valhalla and the upcoming Watch Dogs: Legion offer higher resolution textures and improved shadow quality. Both games also benefit from faster loading times and smoother world traversal.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any new gameplay to show you today. But you can still watch 30 minutes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay from July in case you missed that. You can also listen to the soundtrack.
