The pirate MMO Atlas has a new update out today that adds sea forts.
Today’s update brings another new feature to the game’s upcoming trading system. Sea forts are towering structures that form a control point. They give companies control over trading in an area.
Other necessary trade system features – farmhouses and warehouses – are already active in-game. Markets and trade routes are coming soon. Once complete, the new trade system will allow an automated exchange of goods among players across the Atlas map.
Atlas is an early access game with lots of features changing as the game evolves. It is currently available on PC via Steam Early Access and Xbox One. It features cross-platform support as well as full keyboard and mouse support, allowing PC and Xbox players to play at parity.
