How these games fare some nearly twenty years later – and particularly how they fare on a console – will be interesting to find out. Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance came out on GameCube, PS2, and Xbox back in 2001, but the game was specifically developed for consoles. They are now considered some of the best RPGs on Android.

In other D&D-related news, Baldur’s Gate 3 was officially announced in the run-up to E3. Larian Studios – the makers of the Divinity series – are developing the game.
