Atlus U.S.A. today announced the acquisition of the North American publishing rights to Battle B-Daman and Battle B-Daman 2. Both games are based on the popular animated program “Battle B-Daman,” the second season of which debuts on American television later this year. Battle B-Daman is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance in the summer of 2006, followed by Battle B-Daman 2 in the fall of 2006.
“Battle B-Daman and Battle B-Daman 2 are a collective milestone in the history of Atlus, as our first handheld games based on an animated series,” said Carl Chen, Project Lead of Battle B-Daman. “Both games are perfect picks for fans of the ‘Battle B-Daman’ toys, pre-teen gamers, and any GBA owner who enjoys multiplayer excitement.”
