Battlefield Bad Company 2 Onslaught DLC Available Now

EA has finally released the Battlefield Bad Company 2 “Onslaught” mode on Xbox Live and PSN for 800 MSP or $10. Onslaught is a new co-op mode similar to Modern Warfare 2’s “Special Ops” mode, only with the Battlefield twist of both ground and aerial vehicles. This pack was recently rumored to be a free release, just like the free map releases, but at a $10 price point this new mode gives the player much more bang for the buck than the 5 maps for $15 on Modern Warfare 2.

This is the first of two announced major DLC packs for Battlefield Bad Company 2, with the second being the Vietnam pack in the winter of this year. The Vietnam pack is a multiplayer-only pack with new weapons, vehicles, maps and other unlocks. While a separate single-player expansion with this DLC would put the franchise way over the top in the FPS market, no word has been announced that this would ever come to pass. Pick up your Onslaught DLC today and get to killin’!
