Ben 10 crossover DLC lands in Minecraft

Minecraft Ben 10 DLC

New Ben 10 crossover DLC arrived in Minecraft yesterday, with content for Story and Free Roam modes, skins, and a lot of fun.

Minecraft remains fresh as its updates and DLCs always have something new and innovative to offer. Now, Mojang Studios, in collaboration with Cartoon Network, has announced their collaboration to bring Ben 10 to Minecraft, which includes the addition of the Story and Free Roam modes based on the hero’s universe.

“This DLC comes in two different modes – Story and Free Roam. In Story Mode, you will need to step up and face an epic challenge. Ben, Gwen, and Grandpa Max need your help recovering lost alien DNA from the Omnitrix. Transform in Ben 10 to all of Ben’s alien heroes to defeat iconic villains like Vilgax, Zombozo, and Kevin 11 as the story unfolds.” says Sofia Dankis, Creative Writer from Mojang.

“If you want to access all the alien DNA right away, then Free Roam Mode is for you. Maybe you want to take Rath for a stroll up the side of a skyscraper, or speed down the highway as XLR8? It’s up to you to decide which alien is right for the job, but remember – there are villains to defeat in Free Roam Mode too!”

What skins are included?

The specifics of this new Ben 10 DLC are detailed in a lively video posted on the official Minecraft YouTube channel. Players can swap out the iconic Steve avatar for a variety of alternate skins, including those of popular characters such as Rath, Heatblast, Humungousaur, and Ben Tennyson himself, with the other-worldly Omnitrix acting as the tool to switch between each character. Each skin also appears to have its own movement animation, with animalistic characters like Rath lumbering across the map on all fours.

If you want to experience the Minecraft world as Ben 10, head over to the Marketplace to set out on your new adventure. Also, there’s a new Ben t-shirt available as a character creator ítem free for all Minecrafters.
