It’s been nearly three years since Diablo III was revealed to the public. While it has not yet been released for PC, Blizzard is reportedly gearing up for a possible PS3 port. The news is not-so-secret as it was posted on the company’s official jobs directory as a position for “Senior Software Engineer, Console — Playstation 3 Specialist” at their Irvine, California studio.
“Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an enthusiastic senior software engineer to be a key contributor on the Diablo team. This position is responsible for overseeing Playstation 3 (PS3) architecture design as well as other PS3-specific game code development to maximize platform performance,” the posting says. Candidates will be responsible for “design, implement[ing], and maintain[ing] game systems to work on the Playstation 3.”
