2K Games is releasing Borderlands 2 VR on Steam on October 22.
The Steam version will include all of the BMF DLC at launch. The BMF DLC was added to the PS4 version for free earlier this month to celebrate the launch of Borderlands 3.
The Borderlands 2 VR Bad Ass Mega Fun DLC pack adds 16 pieces of DLC content from Borderlands 2. Most notably, the BAMF DLC pack includes all four major content add-ons: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. It also adds two additional Vault Hunters to the base game: Gaige the Mechromancer and Krieg the Psycho.
In addition to the Borderlands 2 VR Steam release date news, 2K Games also announced a free, Halloween-themed event for Borderlands 3 next month. The Bloody Harvest event will include “brand new and appropriately-themed Legendary weapons, character skins, enemy types, environments, and at least one seriously spooky boss battle.”
