The latest campaign add-on for Borderlands 3, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, is out now. Plus, all players are getting a free level cap increase.
Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck is the fourth campaign add-on included with the Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition and Season Pass. It’s also available for purchase separately, although you will need to own a copy of the base game.
The first campaign add-on was Moxxi’s Heist of The Handsome Jackpot, which came out in 2019. The second add-on is Guns, Love, and Tentacles. The third campaign add-on, Bounty of Blood, coincided with updates to both Mayhem Mode 2.0 and Takedown at the Guardian Breach.

Thanks to some absurdly advanced technology devised by brilliant scientist Patricia Tannis, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck takes place entirely in the titular meat maestro’s messed-up consciousness. Tannis is convinced that this unsettling environment holds the key to a mythical place she’s dubbed “Vaulthalla.” So, starting right now, she needs you to seek answers inside Krieg’s mindscape.
Time to level up
The release of the new campaign add-on isn’t the only Borderlands 3 news today. Gearbox also released a new patch for the game that will let you level up your character in the game.
All players are getting a free level cap increase whether or not you own Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck. Vault Hunters can now unlock five additional levels and skill points. The new maximum level is 65.
Gearbox says that it’s the last planned level cap increase “for the foreseeable future.”
