Borderlands 3 teased as Gearbox hints at March 28 announcement

Developer Gearbox is likely announcing Borderlands 3 on March 27. The company teased gamers via Twitter with a screenshot of a cel-shaded game in Borderlands style with the date “March 28” and “Exit 3” posted on a road sign.
Borderlands first appeared on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2009. The original game, along with its follow-ups, blends first-person shooter and RPG elements in a cel-shaded graphics style.

This will be the first game in the series that is exclusive to current-gen hardware. The last game in the series, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, was released on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
