The Mighty Bowser: Super Mario’s Bowser now has his own LEGO set

LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser

LEGO brings a figure of the imposing Bowser with a high level of detail (for a LEGO figure, of course).

In the past, LEGO has brought different collaborations with one of the most important franchises in video games. With a collection of more than 20 products available, you can build your LEGO Super Mario world to your liking. You can even play with Mario and Luigi figures like you never imagined. (And, yes, Mario’s former arch-rival Sonic the Hedgehog has his own LEGO set, too.)

But today’s star of the day is not one of the plumber brothers we love so much. Yesterday, LEGO announced the arrival of a stunning new figure of a villain who has come to win our hearts. LEGO Super Mario: The Mighty Bowser will arrive in LEGO stores and on their website worldwide this fall.

The King of Koopas is here!

Measuring over 12 inches tall and 16 inches wide, this new figure from the Super Mario collection is simply amazing. For fans of figures with a large number of pieces, this new figure will have a total of 2,807 pieces. This amount of pieces will allow you to recreate the look of the spiky Bowser spikes, along with many more features of this figure.

LEGO Super Mario The Mighty Bowser

The Mighty Bowser features a fireball launcher based on the video games. In addition to this, players can control the figure’s movements through a button. The head, neck, mouth, legs, arms, and tail will all have a degree of movement to represent the classic poses of the character.

But that’s not all. Lego fans who own the LEGO Super Mario starter kit will be able to make Mario and Bowser fight! Through an official statement, LEGO Super Mario‘s chief designer Carl Merriam has given more information about this new figure:

Adding LEGO Super Mario: The Mighty Bowser really is a blast from the past for many Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs). He might be the big boss, but he still brings back a warm feeling of nostalgia to adult Super Mario fans worldwide. Just as defeating Bowser was always the ultimate challenge in the Super Mario games, here we’re challenging fans to build the King of the Koopas from nearly 3,000 pieces. We know they’re up to the task and will be chomping at the bit to get their hands on this great new addition to the Super Mario line.

The LEGO Super Mario: The Mighty Bowser set officially arrived in LEGO stores on October 1.
