Bramble: The Mountain King receives new gameplay trailer

Bramble: The Mountain King

After its E3 reveal, Dimfrost Studio lets us see more of Bramble: The Mountain King.

After nearly four months, Swedish indie developer Dimfrost Studio has released the first gameplay video for Bramble: The Mountain King, a Nordic-inspired horror game.

Get ready for a unique horror experience

Bramble: The Mountain King casts players as a kid and his elder sister who become stranded in a mysterious forest. On their adventure, they will encounter and interact with gnomes, trolls, and other Norse-inspired monsters.

Despite what was unveiled during the IGN Expo at E3, we get a new look into the world of Bramble as well as some strange denizens of the magical forest, and how players will interact with them on their adventure in this new gameplay trailer for the game.

The clip also showcases aspects of the game’s combat, stealth mechanics, and environmental puzzles, such as guiding a troop of little gnomes along a perilous route.

Bramble: The Mountain King

“Our goal for Bramble is to create a living and strange world filled with mysterious and mythical creatures,” said Fredrik Selldén, the CEO of Dimfrost. “They will not only be a passive part of the world but also an active part of your journey. Some of them will help you, some of them need your help, and some of them just want to eat you! They live in this world and players will interact with their everyday lives.”

Bramble: The Mountain King is set to be released for PC and consoles in 2022. Even if we don’t have a specific release date for this horror game, we may add it to our Steam wishlist now.
