The fast-paced 2D shooter Butcher is free for 48 hours on GOG. The giveaway coincides with the site’s Made in Poland Sale.
According to GOG, Butcher features “ultra-violent uncompromising carnage in the spirit of Doom and Quake.” There are 20 levels and loads of weapons. You can gear up with a chainsaw, shotgun, grenade launcher, and more.
The game has received decent reviews from professional critics. It is currently averaging a 71 out of 100 on OpenCritic. So it probably won’t knock your socks off, but it also doesn’t sound like it’s a bad game either.
