The next Call of Duty – officially titled Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and slated for launch on November 13, 2012 – was outed by “pre-order cards” from Target.
These little guys just ruined Activision’s day.
Activision’s big 2012 blockbuster was set to be revealed on May 1, but it looks like the publisher will not be breaking the news after all – then again, the long-rumored Black Ops 2 seemed to be all but certain when a poster recently leaked, showing the date for Activision’s premiere event.
The “Prototype Quadrotor”…could Black Ops 2 take place in near-future settings?
There are almost no concrete details about Black Ops 2 available at the moment, though the setting of the game may be “near-future” according to an official viral video and what may be leaked in-game screenshots. You can see the video below and the images above:
