Activision today revealed a new in-game banner in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. They’ve also released lifetime totals for the Call of Duty Endowment.

“The banner is from the Call of Duty Endowment thanking the Modern Warfare and Warzone communities for helping raise enough money through Endowment digital items to help place 18,000 veterans into meaningful employment,” Activision said in an email to Game Freaks 365.

“Overall, the Endowment has placed over 72,000 veterans thus far and are well on their way of hitting their goal of 100,000 veterans placed by 2024. For context, the largest Major League Baseball stadium in the United States seats 56,000 fans,” the publisher adds.

The 18,000 figure that is mentioned on the in-game banner is specifically for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. The larger 72,000 figure includes all previous games that have supported the Call of Duty Endowment over the years.

Activision typically announces donations to the Endowment every year. Earlier this summer, Activision released the Freedom Pack DLC within Call of Duty Mobile to support unemployed veterans through the Endowment.

Meanwhile, the latest game in the franchise is coming out later this year. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War launches November 13 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
