Call of Duty Mobile tops 35 million downloads in first three days

Activision announced this morning that Call of Duty: Mobile has already surpassed 35 million downloads. At one point this week, the game achieved the #1 app ranking on the App Store.

The free-to-play game launched this week on Android and iOS devices. It brings together maps, modes, weapons, and characters from across the franchise including Nuketown, Crash, and Hijacked.

Call of Duty: Mobile is focused on competitive head-to-head multiplayer. The modes include free-for-all, team deathmatch, search and destroy, and battle royale.

The game launched on October 1 in all countries where Google Play and the App Store are supported except for mainland China, Vietnam, and Belgium.

“The response from fans across both Android and iOS has been amazing,” says Rob Kostich, the president of Activision. “There is a ton more to look forward to as we release more content and updates.”
