Surprise! There’s a new Call of Duty game landing in October.
Although it was just announced at the beginning of the month, Activision has confirmed the release date for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II reboot.
To be clear, this is the sequel to the reboot of Modern Warfare. It should not be confused with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 from 2009 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: Campaign Remastered.

Details remain very light at this point, but we did get a new minute-long trailer today that shows a tanker with some of the game’s artwork emblazoned on it. It also has the release date at the end of the video. That’s about it.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II ships on October 28, 2022. We’ll let you know when we hear more details from Activision.
