Activision just announced major milestones for both Call of Duty Warzone and the overall franchise.
Call of Duty: Warzone – which launched last year – now has over 100 million players across a combined 28.8 billion matches. Needless to say, that’s a lot of players infiltrating Verdansk. Of course, it helps that the game is free to play.

But that’s not all. Activision also says that the franchise as a whole has sold over 400 million premium copies. Those sales cover the period from when the first Call of Duty launched in 2003 back when the game was set during World War II through the most recent game, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
In other news, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season Three goes live tomorrow. So you’ll want to check that out if you’re a CoD regular.
