Today, Ubisoft announced that Call of Juarez: The Cartel is now available at retailers throughout North America for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The Windows PC version will be released on September 13, 2011. Developed by Techland, this first-person shooter features an immersive storyline with a rich cast of characters and intense gameplay. Players will embark on a journey through a modern day Wild West where the end justifies the means and lawlessness runs rampant.
When a Mexican drug cartel bombs a US law enforcement agency, the US government puts together a special task force to bring them down. Enter LAPD cop Ben McCall, DEA agent Eddie Guerra and FBI agent Kim Evans, each of whom bring their own special skills, personal demons and unique story to the game. As one of these protagonists, players will fight to dismantle the Cartel through the streets of Los Angeles to Ciudad Juarez.
