Call of the Sea looks like a promising adventure game

Call of the Sea

Microsoft made plenty of news today with its Inside Xbox event. Call of the Sea looks like a potential sleeper hit.

It’s easy to get lost in the headlines between EA confirming Madden NFL 21 for Xbox Series X and the next-gen game trailers. Oh, the trailers!

You know what I’m talking about. The first look at Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay, the Scorn reveal trailer. Plus, Sega says Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a day one launch title on Xbox Series X.

But the thought of being stranded in the South Pacific sounds appealing – especially right now – at least in my imagination. Still, I think I’d still rather experience it in a video game than in real life.

Call of the Sea will let players do exactly that in the confines of a mystery adventure game. And by all accounts, it looks like it will be a non-violent adventure, too, which is pretty rare these days. I’m looking forward to it.

Aside from Xbox Series X, Call of the Sea is also coming to PC and Xbox One.
