The Kickstarter campaign to support the retro pixel-art point-and-click adventure game Casebook 1899: The Leipzig Murders is now live.

Casebook 1899: The Leipzig Murders looks fairly unique. It’s a point-and-click adventure game with a distinct 1980s floppy disk PC game feel to it. So if that is your thing, this game should interest you.

Players control detective Joseph Kreiser, examine objects, question witnesses, and interrogate suspects.  Combine the collected clues in a notebook and decide which clues will lead to the culprit.

“The Casebook 1899 The Leipzig Murders Kickstarter will help the developer to get more investment to finish and cover the costs related to the production and development,” the indie developer says.

They’re hoping to raise just north of $15k through their Kickstarter campaign. So far, they have raised $5,145 with 26 days to go. The game is expected to launch in 2023.
