A month after the successful FarmVille 3 launch, Zynga announced today that a feline star would be visiting to keep us company while we enhance our farm. Nala Cat, the lovely Siamese-tabby mix that has gone viral on Instagram, is available as a playable skin for Luna.
FarmVille 3‘s popularity has skyrocketed in the first month after its release. With over a billion crops harvested and over 30 million animal births, it demonstrates the massive influx of players on a daily basis. Clearly, Zynga’s approach to animal breeding has been one of the highlights of this latest edition of the game, which has polar bears, grey wolves, and whitetail deer as the top exotic species.

Despite the fact that the game is still in its early stages, Zynga has already stated that they are excited to see what players will do on their farms. They say that they want to add a lot more content in the future so that players will always have something fresh to do on their farms.

Nala’s life began a decade ago in a pet shelter in California, when she was adopted by her owner, Varisiri Methachittiphan. She’s now immensely famous on social media with over 4.3 million followers and a world record for the most Instagram followers for a cat.
As part of the “Nala’s Perfect Getaway” in-game event, players are asked to complete a task to prepare the farm for Nala. When a player reaches level 18, he or she can change Luna – FarmVille 3‘s resident cat – into Nala, the celebrity feline, for a year.
Nala can do everything Luna can, such as harvesting daisies for crafting, as well as some of her favorite real-life activities, such as leaping into a cardboard box. Plus, our feline pal will come with a decorating kit for her virtual home inside the farm, which is heavily inspired by Nala’s favorite hideouts in real life.
