English-speaking Collar X Malice fans can now get their hands on Unlimited. Aksys Games today launched the follow-up to the otome game in the US.
Collar X Malice Unlimited is a visual novel where players go undercover in the Adonis terrorist organization. The game has new characters and three new play modes: Interlude, After Story, and Adonis.
“Buckle up for an entirely new investigatory experience as you search for traitors hidden deep within the shadowy Adonis organization,” Aksys says. “It’s a desperate race against time before the next cataclysmic X-Day arrives.”
The Western release of Collar X Malice Unlimited is available in both Standard and Limited Editions for Nintendo Switch. The Limited Edition includes an exclusive soundtrack with 30 music tracks, a 1” Adonis organization pin, and a collectible X-Day coin. The Limited Edition has a suggested retail price of $69.99, while the Standard Edition is $49.99.
Collar X Malice is originally a PlayStation Vita game from 2016 in Japan and 2017 in the US. That game was later ported to Nintendo Switch, which is also available at Playasia. The original received strong reviews. It’s averaging an 81 out of 100 on OpenCritic.
