Core Keeper has a new Easter egg hunt event

Sandbox mining adventure Core Keeper has a new Easter egg event that’s now live.

Core Keeper just launched on Steam Early Access in early March. After a highly successful launch where it sold over 100,000 units in just two days, it already has its first seasonal in-game event. Given the time of year, it is apt that the event is an Easter egg hunt. (The game has now crossed 500k downloads.)

“The hunt for Easter eggs is on in Core Keeper, the indie sandbox adventure hit, where players can find hidden eggs to craft the ultimate prize, the Golden Egg,” says the indie developer. “The event ends April 19 during which those who unlock the Golden Egg will receive hidden bonuses… if they use the egg in a specific way.”

As Daniel wrote last month, the game is a 1-8 player mining sandbox adventure set in an ancient cavern with critters, treasures, and trinkets. Players mine relics and resources to create a base, craft new equipment, and stay alive.

Core Keeper is now available on PC via Steam Early Access.
