Core Keeper The Sunken Sea update out now

Sandbox mining adventure Core Keeper just got its first major content update.

Set sail into uncharted waters and defeat a colossal sea monster in Core Keeper’s ‘The Sunken Sea’ update, available to download today.

Available as a free update to all Core Keeper players, ‘The Sunken Sea’ is the first major content update for the hit mining sandbox adventure. The new update introduces a brand-new water-based biome filled with large bodies of water and undiscovered islands to explore.

Here are more details from the indie developer:

Head out on the ocean waves in boats, encounter new aquatic enemies and discover new locations, fish, plants, food types and more on your journey to defeat Omoroth the Sea Titan. Equip your explorer with new weapons and gear, and expand your homestead with multiple new base-building items, including sprinklers, portals, new workbenches and more. Core Keeper launched on Steam Early Access back in March. The game sold over 100k copies in its first two days on the market. Although this is the first major content update, the developers added an Easter egg hunt event in April.
