Activision revealed today at Gamescom that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time includes flashback levels. The levels are available starting at launch.
The flashback levels will give players the ability to rewind time back to the ‘90s at the height of the Crash Bandicoot franchise. Through the collection of Flashback Tapes, players discover Crash and Coco’s origin story. Players also experience Bandicoot training in Neo Cortex’s Test Chambers.

“The Flashback levels are designed to challenge players’ puzzle-solving and technical performing abilities,” Activision says. “They also give fans even more ways to play.”

Crash Bandicoot 4 launches on October 2 for PS4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders for the game are now open at Amazon.
