Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time

It’s about time! Crash Bandicoot 4 launches on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X today.

Last year, Activision released the first new Crash Bandicoot game in years – but it only came out on PS4 and Xbox One. Developer Toys for Bob has been hard at work bringing Crash Bandicoot 4 to new platforms since then.

The game gets some upgrades on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. For starters, it runs in 4K at 60 frames per second on next-gen consoles. Additionally, players on either next-gen platform will enjoy faster load times. PS5 owners in particular will be in for an extra treat with the DualSense controller bringing adaptive triggers to players’ fingertips. Additionally, PlayStation 5’s Activity Card feature gives players a clear breakdown of their progress.

Plus, anyone who purchased Crash Bandicoot 4 on PS4 or Xbox One is entitled to receive a free next-gen upgrade within the same console family. This includes the ability to transfer saved data. It’s one of many games supporting Smart Delivery.

What about PC, you ask? Activision confirms that the game is coming to PC via Steam on March 26.
