CD Projekt Red announced today that Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on next-gen consoles via the RED Streams event that the Polish studio hosts on Twitch. Furthermore, with the release of this new edition comes a new game update for all platforms, which improves several aspects of the game.
Cyberpunk 2077 makes use of the added capability of the latest generation of platform hardware with Patch 1.5. Players can expect ray tracing and 4K resolution with dynamic scaling on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, as well as quicker load times and other aesthetic and technical enhancements. The game will also make use of the DualSense controller’s adjustable triggers and haptic feedback features on PlayStation 5.
An update for all versions of the game
All versions of Cyberpunk 2077 will benefit from the latest update, which includes a variety of upgrades and enhancements. These include anything from improved performance and stability to changes to gameplay and the economy. There are also new interactions for relationships and a reworked Fixer system, as well as components of the game’s open world and map usage.
In addition, new free supplementary content such as rentable residences, new equipment, character customization possibilities, and much more has been added.
The next-gen console version of Cyberpunk 2077, as well as the new 1.5 Update, is now available. A limited-time next-gen free trial is offered for Xbox X|S Series and PlayStation 5 until March 15, allowing players to experience the game before purchasing it.
