Cyberpunk point-and-click adventure Encodya launches on consoles

Encodya

Explore the 2.5D dark cyberpunk world of Encodya with Tina and SAM-53 as they embark on an incredible adventure.

Encodya, a new point-and-click adventure developed by Chaosmonger Studio in conjunction with Assemble Entertainment, is now available for consoles.

A cyberpunk dystopia world with cute graphics

Encodya tells the story of an orphaned child in Neo-Berlin who is abandoned by the “wolves” – a violent, furious, and sad society ruled by totalitarian corporations in the dismal future of 2062.

However, not all hope is lost in this cyberpunk-inspired point-and-click adventure, as Tina is joined by a massive mechanical brute: a robotic buddy named SAM-53. Together, they must embark on a dangerous expedition to preserve the world as they know it.

Tina and SAM-53’s travels take them to other realms populated by bizarre robotic animals and hideous people. They will uncover the ultimate meaning of life via riddles and intriguing discussions.

Studio Ghibli meets Blade Runner

The debut title from Chaosmonger Studio evokes the delicacy and wonder of Studio Ghibli while embracing a Blade Runner-like mood and scenario. Yes, we know. It is quite an unusual mix. To our own surprise, it works really well, as seen in the debut trailer (which you should check out below).

Encodya was initially published on PC via Steam. However, owing to great demand from gamers who desired the title on their consoles, the title is now available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
