Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. And during a livestream on Thursday, Spike Chunsoft revealed that the game has been released on smartphones.
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is the first game in the franchise. This version features an all-new UI along with new touchscreen controls for smooth gameplay. It also features an all-new gallery feature that allows you to view event illustrations, scenes, and listen to the voiced dialogue.
The game was originally released in Japan on the PlayStation Portable back in 2010. It was eventually released in America and ported to PlayStation Vita and PC. The mobile version brings the game to an even wider audience.
Drew was a big fan of the PlayStation Vita version. In his review, he wrote that “Trigger Happy Havoc is a deep and serious game that doesn’t mind letting itself have fun.” He gave the Vita version a 4 out of 5.
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition is now available via Google Play and the App Store. By the way, unlike a lot of mobile games, this is not a free-to-play title. It retails for $15.99 on iOS and $17.99 on Android. So it’s cheaper than a Vita game but a lot more than your typical mobile title.
